		<description><![CDATA[I have seen claims stay open for years. Generally this would involve bodily injury and the other party is seeking damages. If the claim is just property damage, these types of claims tend to close rather quickly since property damage is pretty much cut and dry. Even if there is no determination of fault insurance companies usually pay quickly for the repairs.]]></description>
