		<description><![CDATA[Whether you consider disability insurance a medical expense depends on whether you are paying the bill, in which case it certainly is an expense, or whether you are the IRS, in which case you most likely cannot deduct those hard earned dollars you spent on coverage.  You can ask your CPA whether the laws have changed, but likely not.  I am not a CPA, so I can&#039;t tell you whether it is deductible in your case or not.  If you are purchasing disability insurance for a tax write off, however, you are purchasing it for the wrong reasons.]]></description>
