Homeowner's policies vary a LOT so the only way to know for sure is to file a claim. This question in particular is very tricky but as a general guideline tree removal will be covered (to a limit) if what caused the tree to fall was something sudden and accidental such as a windstorm or a lightning. On the other hand if the tree just died of disease or old age its removal will probably not be covered.
