For an Insurance agent to quote a Homeowners Insurance policy, below are a few of the questions an insurance agent should ask:
1) Address of property
2) Age of dwelling
3) Square Footage
4) Information about the dwelling; frame/brick , style of home, number of bathrooms, construction style, ect
5) distance to fire house, and hydrants .
6) Age of the roof, plumbing, electric, plumbing.
7) Insurance agents will also need to know if you own a dog and the breed ( certain breeds raise flags for liability bite history)

This is a sampling of just a few of the of the many question a knowledgeable insurance agent should ask you. I hope this is of help.
