		<description><![CDATA[Medicare Part B does not cover routine vision exams and eyeglasses.

However...
Prescription eyeglasses with standard frames (or one set of contact lenses) is covered by Medicare after cataract surgery that implants an intraocular lens.  

In addition to the above requirement, Medicare will only pay for contact lenses or eye glasses if you purchase from a supplier who is enrolled in Medicare.

You are responsible for paying 20% of the Medicare- approved amount, and the Part B deductible also applies.  If you have Medicare Supplement insurance, the Part B deductible and co-insurance may be covered.  ]]></description>
