Cataract surgery is covered under Medicare Part B in Wisconsin and every other state in the union. Part B of Medicare will pay 80% on cataract surgery after you have met the annual Part B deductible of $166 for 2016. It also pays for a new pair of glasses after cataract surgery. If you have a Medicare Supplement it will pay the 20% Medicare leave off leaving you with little or no out of pocket expense for cataract surgery.

Yes, Medicare does pay for cataract surgery in Wisconsin, and it also pays for one pair of glasses following the surgery. This is covered by Medicare Part B, unless the surgery must be done on an inpatient basis for medical reasons. Then it would be covered by Medicare Part A.
