When infusions are done in the hospital or in a skilled nursing facility, Medicare picks up the payment for infusion therapy. However, it is has not extended that benefit to home IV therapy, even though the costs are much less than what is entailed when receiving IV therapy in a hospital or nursing home.]]></description>
