If your doctor does not accept assignment, you may need to pay for your doctor&#039;s service, but not for the pneumonia vaccine or shot. Pneumonia immunizations are also covered by Medicare when administered at participating group clinics, unless you are in an HMO that requires you to go to a certain location to receive your shot in order for Medicare to pay for it.]]></description>
