		<description><![CDATA[Obamacare does not eliminate Medicare but it does reduce current and future funding for Medicare.

The argument is, by &quot;bending the cost curve&quot; savings will magically be generated that result in the program requiring fewer operating funds.

Sounds good, but it doesn&#039;t work that way.

Bending the cost curve is attained by paying providers less and shifting more of the cost of care to Medicare beneficiaries.]]></description>
