Good News! You do not pay for Medicare Part A. Part B could be $95 or more depending on your income. In addition to Part A and Part B, you'll most likely want to have a Medicare Supplement Plan (to fill the gaps in coverage of original Medicare) and Part D drug coverage. If you're amenable to an HMO type environment, then you might get a Medicare Advantage Plan which generally includes the supplement AND the drug coverage and is less expensive that a Medicare Supplement and Part D. Note: If you're eligible for Medicaid, then you may have no cost at all.
