If I’m 4 mos pregnant now & purchase a policy would it cover me if there were complications at 8 mos?

Wondering if I purchased a policy with short term disability would it cover me if I were put on bedrest in the 8th month?

    If you were to purchase a short term disability policy while being four months pregnant, there will almost certainly be an exclusion on your policy that will exclude payment if time is taken off for any reason related to pregnancy or childbirth. If you had long term disability in place when you got pregnant, it should pay for bed rest due to complications during your 8th month of pregnancy. Congratulations and best wishes.
