   Indemnity Health Insurance is one of the oldest types of coverage and was created long before HMO and PPO began to muddy the waters. This is one of those "insurances" you better understand what you are buying and compare the "premiums" to the benefit of your having the discipline to take those same dollars down to the bank and save the money rather than paying some insurance company for little or nothing. You need to understand how long it is before the insurance company will start paying the benefits even if you have a claim. You better understand in order to collect anything on these policies you must be "hospitalized" and then the benefit days are very limited. Millions are poured into these policies every year by gullible individuals that do not even understand what they bought
