    This is one of the most important things your agent should do for you.  You should take a photograph of every wall in your unit.  Make sure you have a picture of everything that you own.  Then review the pictures noting your personal property and make an estimate of the cost of replacing that object.  Add up those numbers and you have your personal property limit.  I am sure that you don’t want to have a fire and get only 50% of the replacement cost of your property reimbursed.
