Does Renters Insurance Cover Loss Of Belongings Due To Bed Bugs?

We have renters insurance does cover loss of furniture and clothing due to bed bugs?

    A homeowner’s policy is designed to pay for damages to your residence. The list of perils that the company insures against is lengthy but insects are specifically excluded in most policies. Eradication of bed bugs is not a covered loss under the policy. It is certainly a condition that should be corrected.
