Can Someone Without A License Have Car Insurance?

    Unless you are getting ready to have your license re-instated and have to show proof of insurance before having it re-issued; I do not believe that it is possible for you to secure auto insurance coverage. I am certain that almost all of the auto insurance carriers out there would be reluctant to allow a person without a valid drivers license to have insurance coverage with them, which would potentially open them up to greater risk of loss.

    Every state has different laws concerning car insurance and a drivers license. I would check with your State Department of Insurance and ask them that question. I think it's always safer to get that info first hand than to ask a person who you may feel is going to try to sell you something you may or may not need to buy.
