   In states  and with Insurance Companies that allow a temporary suspension of liability coverage on a car, this can be a good way to manage insurance costs on seasonal vehicles.  Where this is available, you just need to talk to your Insurance Professional who will provide you with a suspension request form identifying the car.  Once you sign this request, the coverage may be temporarily suspended without if affecting your registration
