    It is easier to identify what it does cover.  It covers your car.  If your car is involved in an accident, it pays up to the limits of the policy for the bodily injury and property damage of the other party. If your car is damaged the auto policy can provide physical damage coverage to repair your vehicle.  There are many things which it doesn’t cover.  For example, it doesn't cover your personal property or business property in the car.
