Critical Illness insurance covers the gaps you may have in your major medical plan. Life insurance covers when we die but does very little if you are still living. Critical illness will give you the necessary coverage you need if you are ever afllicted with a qualifying disease and yet still have financial and family obligations you are responsible for. It is a great companion to your life policy. Talk to an Insurance professional who knows the product and see how it can benefit you.
