Does Health Insurance Cover A Breast Pump?

   Breast pumps are usually over the counter items and are not medically necessary therefore most health insurance will not cover them.  Unless there is sound medical reason for any type of device or medical equipment, then health insurance will not cover them  If you feel your case is unusual then have your doctor contact your company for approval.
