Typical policies cover fallen trees if they cause property damage, and if they fall due to a covered peril such as wind, lighting, etc. If a tree just falls in the yard and does not damage anything then usually the policy will not cover the removal of the tree or a replacement tree. It must cause damage and be caused by a covered peril. Hope this helps.
