Does Homeowners Insurance Cover Raccoon Damage?

   Homeowner policies generally exclude damage arising from "... birds, vermin, rodents, insects or domestic animals."
   
   A raccoon is not any one of those items, accordingly I would say raccoon damage is covered.  However the policy language of your policy is the deciding factor.
