    Nope.  A very common exclusion is damage caused by pests/parasites.  The reason for this exclusion is it is preventable.  Taking a step back, insurance is meant to provide coverage for sudden and unexpected events that can cause a catastrophic loss.  If something can be prevented then there is typically no coverage.  Termites fall into the category of being preventable.
