The owner of the life insurance policy can change their beneficiary at any time. If you are not sure if you are the owner, you can call the life insurance company with your policy number or Social Security Number to ask them. It just takes a simple form to change the beneficiary, and it is important to keep your policy up to date by having the beneficiaries you desire.

Sure, if you are the owner of the policy.  Ownership of the Life Insurance contract is key to your ability to make sure that policy is up to date and continues to accomplish everything that it was originally designed to so.  Unfortunately many times, as life circumstances change, these contracts might be forgotten.  It is a good idea to talk to your insurance professional on a regular basis to make sure your coverage is current. An annual "check up" is as good for your financial health as a Doctor's visit is to yours.
