   To cancel any life insurance policy, you can call the Customer Service department of the insurance company and ask for the paperwork to cancel your policy. Before cancelling, though, it can be very helpful to speak to an agent to discuss your options. I literally went in to cancel a policy for my mom this week, and when we both learned of an unknown feature it had, she was thrilled to get to keep it. You may not need to pay another cent and still be able to keep some coverage. Taking a few minutes to review what you put so much into is never a bad idea.
