   Medicare Part B does offer coverage for motorized mobility devices (scooters) in certain situations.
   
   You must be evaluated by a doctor and your doctor must certify that you need a mobility device. The scooter must be used for movement primarily around your home and you must have a CMN (certificate of medical need).
