Medicare does not have a maximum out of pocket limit.

The Medicare Part A hospital deductible is per admission (with some exceptions). If you have multiple hospital admissions during the year you could be responsible for several deductibles.

Medicare Part B has an annual deductible but your 20% share after the deductible is unlimited.

This is why so many buy a supplement policy to limit their out of pocket exposure.
