    High income seniors will pay a surcharge in addition to their Medicare Part B premium. Depending on your income, single seniors with incomes in excess of $85,000 and married filing jointly with incomes above $170,000 may pay a penalty (surcharge). In 2013 your total Part B premium could be between $147 and $386 per month.
