The best way to compare prices on Medigap policies is to speak with an independent Medigap insurance broker. Independent brokers can sell Medigap policies from just about every company that offers Medigap plans.

Since all Medigap plans are standardized and the only difference is price, you can compare plan F's from every company that offers it in your zip code to see which carrier will offer you the coverage at the lowest possible cost (same goes for comparing plan G's, N's, etc.).

I would also compare the prices of plan Fs and plan Gs because the benefits are identical except plan G has a deductible of $147 (the Medicare Part B deductible in 2014 and 2015). If the difference in price is more than $12.25 per month, plan G would be a better deal for you. If the difference in price is less than $12.25 per month, then plan F would be a better deal for you.

I would be happy to help you with your Medigap coverage and compare Medigap plans and quotes from every company offering them to you in your area - our agency is licensed in over 35 states and over 50 insurance companies. Please feel free to contact me for assistance. Thanks very much.
