    Yes, Zostavax vaccine (shingles vaccine) is covered by Medicare Part D. It is not covered by Medicare Part B.

    When your doctor orders your Zostavax immunization, you can have the shot at the doctor's office or take the order to a pharmacy that administers those immunizations in conjunction with Medicare. You will need to pay any applicable co-pays that Medicare Part B does not cover.
