Renters insurance covers your personal contents of your rented property. If you vehicle was vandalized that is a comprehensive claim under your auto insurance, assuming that you carry comprehensive coverage.  If you do not carry comprehensive they only thing to do is sue the person who vandalized your car, and most likly you do not know who they are. Sorry about your misfortune and best of luck to you.

Your car is covered by your auto insurance, not a renter’s policy.  There is an obscure situation where there could be coverage but it would not be for a car used on the road.  If your car was used to maintain the premises and was not used on the road it might be covered for vandalism.

No, there is no coverage in your Renters' Insurance Policy for damage to your car for vandalism or any other reason. This coverage is available under the Comprehensive portion of your Car Insurance policy (for vandalism). That having been said, if someone breaks into your car and takes personal items those personal items would be covered under a typical Renters' Insurance policy subject to policy coverage limitations and the deductible.
