Based on my experience with the carriers that I have worked with, homeowners insurance is an average of eight hundred to fifteen hundred per year in Wisconsin. There are many, many factors that go in to determining your rate for your homeowners coverage. Please call a local agent to discuss your coverage needs, desires, and concerns.

I agree with David.  I typically see rates which average about $800-1200 per year.
Of course, there are several different coverage options and endorsements which impact premium.  Cheaper is NOT always better.  Talk to an agent to make sure your assets are adequately covered.  If you find yourself complaining about your premium, remember that Wisconsin has some of the lowest homeowners premiums in the U.S.!  You live in a great state!
