    Allstate used to sell Long Term Care Insurance through one of their companies, Lincoln Benefit Life Company. In 2005, Allstate made the decision to no longer offer new Long Term Care policies branded by Lincoln Benefit Life. At that time, they were exploring other third party carriers to continue offering Long Term Care coverage for Allstate.
