    Medicare Supplements are the same for all Insurance carriers as the types of supplements offered are determined by the government. As such companies are limited as to what they can and cannot offer to the public.

    There are really only three variations as to what companies can offer;

    1) Pricing - Insurance companies set their own pricing based on their own criteria.

    2) Customer service - every company claims to have great customer service.

    3) Agent participation - agents vow to always be there and add a personal touch.

    If you are looking for a supplement then you need to compare prices, how they handle customer service and agent involvement.

    As is says in your Medicare & You Handbook... All Medicare Supplements are the same... Carriers can charge a different rate for the same plan .... So an F is an F is an F… G is a G. Etc., Etc., Etc.

    Now, if the rate is within a few dollars, then you can consider carrier rating.
