    No, every insurance policy is tailored to each individual. This helps to spread the rates more evenly amongst the risk incurred by the carrier. If you wish to cancel your auto insurance policy you may do so at any time that you wish, but if you have a loan on the vehicle then the lien holder may have a requirement within your agreement with them that you carry auto insurance coverage for at least as long as the loan is outstanding.
