   If you are driving your mom's car or any car on a regular basis you need to be listed as a driver on the insurance policy. Most companies will allow occasional usage however more and more companies are denying coverage for household residents not listed on the policy or those where it is obvious they are driving the car on a regular basis. The best option is to contact your insurance company and add all drivers to the policy.
