Many car insurance companies allow you to pay your premium by credit card. However, please keep in mind that each company has a different set of underwriting guidelines and billing requirements, so it is best to check with the specific insurer first, or allow an experienced broker  advise you.

Often, you may be able to pay the initial payment or a late payment by credit card, but ongoing premiums may have to be paid in another way.

Yes, it is possible with select carriers out there. Many carriers still prefer that a client pay be cash, check, money order, cashiers check, or debit card. Contact your local agent to find out about the payment methods that they are currently equipped to accept on the carrier's behalf.
