    Absolutely, but you are going to have to pay for it.

    You can always get insurance after an accident, but be aware that it will effect your premium.  Even if we assume that the accident was not your fault, many insurance companies will view it as a ding against you being a profitable risk.  So, in order to turn you into a profitable risk they will charge you more for your premium.

    My best advice is to shop around because some insurance companies will not want to insure you, which will be made evident by monthly premiums being upwards of $300.
