    If you are a minor and living with your parents or legal guardian, you would normally be covered under your parents auto insurance policy. If you are not a minor or living at home with your parents or legal guardian, I believe that you could be listed under another persons auto policy within the household that you reside in until you receive your license. Each policy is different and regulations vary from state to state. I would recommend contacting your local agent to find out if this coverage is available and what the steps are to put it in action.
