    No.  Illinois is not a no-fault coverage state.  This means that in order to collect damages in an auto accident you will have to file a claim against the other person's insurance.  This typically ends up going through either district or circuit court, depending upon the amount of damages being claimed.  

    Note, there are only twelve no-fault states.
