How Long Can Children Be On Parents Auto Insurance?

    Based on my education and experience in the industry thus far a child can remain under a parents auto insurance policy as long as their place of residence is the same as the parents. Children away at college are still considered part of the parents household by insurance carriers typically until their schooling is done.
