    Typically, as long as the child is still a resident of their parents home or a student away from home that is still using their parents address as a permanent address. All persons that reside in a household may be written under the same auto insurance policy if that is what they would like and in some states it is required to have every driver of the household listed on every auto policy for that household. Contact a local agent and they can inform you of the coverage offered by your policy and any exclusions that there may be.
