    They may be an extra fee associated with paying month to month. It may be a bit cheaper to pay electronically out of your checking account.

    Most carriers have a monthly billing. Most carriers also require you to just pay the 1st month not 2 months down which can be harder for most clients to make insurance affordable .
    There are carriers that issue just 30 day policies Hallmark is one of the carriers that does this but they are not in every state. Contact your local agent or call your state insurance commissioners office they can direct you to the appropriate carrier
