About Me

Born and raised in Alaska, I grew up playing sports (after shoveling snow off the fields) or on the back deck of a commercial fishing boat. After high school, I left Alaska for the warmer and sunnier climate of Seattle! Graduating with a degree in Fisheries Science from the University of Washington, I had no idea what to do so I joined the US Navy. My wife and I traveled the world and lived in fantastic places, such as Iceland, but after 8 years of service felt is was time to settle down to one geographic area. I'm still a member of the military as a Coast Guard Reservist and I continue my passion to help keep people and businesses safe as a licensed independent agent.
