    Unfortunately, a homemaker cannot get Disability Insurance unless they are drawing a substantial income working from the home. The purpose of Disability Insurance is to replace part of the income earned through one's employment, and when one's employment does not draw an income, Disability Insurance cannot be purchased as there is no income to replace.
