To purchase Long Term or Short Term Disability Insurance, contact a local agency or a website that offers Disability Insurance.

    AARP does not offer Disability Insurance, but they do advocate having Disability Insurance. As they explain, ages 50 until you retire are often your peak earning years. If you lose your paycheck during this time due to disability, it could affect you for the rest of your life.
