    Individual Disability Insurance premiums are not tax deductible, and if benefits from the policy are received due to disability, the replacement of income offered by the individual policy are not taxed.

    With Group Disability Insurance, whether it is tax deductible depends on how your employer did or did not pay for it, and how it is set up. You will need to contact your employer and tax consultant to get the answer to that question for your particular situation.
