   Can you buy health insurance with a pre-existing condition?   In 2014 yes as it won't matter anymore. For now, you will have to refer to your state laws pertaining to pre -existing. In my state there are so many varialbles that automatically eliminate pre existing condition clauses that it is hard to give specific advice as it will depend on your state rules.
