    Routine eye care is not covered under your health insurance plan. Vision tests, corrective lenses, etc are not medically necessary and therefore not covered.
     
    Injury or disease of the eye would be a covered expense. Glaucoma treatment, cataract surgery, corrective lenses following cataract surgery would be a covered item.
