Most health insurance plans do not require you to have a physical exam. In some cases, when you are applying for individual health insurance the carrier may ask you to have a physical exam as part of the application process. This is usually a requirement if you do not currently have health insurance, or if you have not seen a doctor for any reason in the last 2 years.
