Depends on what plan you have. If you have group coverage through an employer, it would be whatever the difference is from employee only to employee plus child (for those with a spouse, employee and spouse to employee plus family).

If you have an individual plan, it would be whatever the difference is from your existing price to what it would be to add a baby.

I know those don't sound like great answers, but that's what your calculations would be in short. To get exact figures, you would need to consult with your health insurance agent.

However, having a baby is a qualifying event that grants you a special enrollment period to look for new coverage in the marketplace which is something you should consider. A health insurance broker can work with you on a personal level and help you determine which plan will be most suitable for your specific needs and budget.

I hope the information is helpful - please feel free to contact me for help with your coverage and if you have any other questions. Thanks very much.
